NEW CARRY ENGINE - ANY OTHER LUMPS FIT IN?

Postby Les Jones » Thu Feb 18, 2016 10:03 pm

Hello Fellas,
Anybody know of any engine apart from the 1.3 that fits into the Carryvan?
have you any info or know anyone who has fitted any other Suzuki lump say i.e. Swift or the Vitaro engine in the Carryvans belly - OR- any other type or make of engine and gearbox if needed?
Old Tonka needs a lump the old girl is running like a rocket but is smoking like a Steam boat, Mechanically she is still showing class out there, so just needs a new Transplant Ticker so to speak.
So if you have a good engine for sale (Cash is waiting for the right one) or know of one that needs a new home then please message me on Facebook ( Les Jones) or email me on: fatles22hotmail.com-
mobile 07729430203
I'm based in London but will travel to collect a good un' in mainland UK.
Cheers fellas for any help or info in advance!

Give the old girl a good re bore, got to be cheaper than a replacement, & there is no legality's to sort out after.

Funny enough Cap a replacement engine proved to be a lot cheaper then a rebore - which surprised me, l have near to my snack bar an engine rebuild and racing engine specialist called Peter Mason, who advised me along the new lump route,
Cheers mate Les
